About the Role
As a Picker/Packer, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You'll operate RF scanners, ensure orders are complete and correctly staged, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Your attention to detail ensures customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of goods through our facility. No leadership responsibilities are required; just a dedicated approach to your work and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Pay Rate:
$18.50/hour
Shift Times:
5 am - 1:30 pm
Mandatory OT hours of up to 12 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Select and pack products according to order specifications, following SOPs
- Operate RF scanners to locate and verify items
- Ensure all orders are accurately picked and properly staged before loading
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
- Assist in training new associates when needed
- Complete all documentation accurately and timely
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards promptly
Key Requirements
- 3-6 months of order picking experience with RF scanner use
- Basic reading and writing skills in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with two-digit numbers and work with measurements
- Ability to stand for long periods and repeatedly lift up to 35 pounds
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Able to work in noisy environments with temperature fluctuations
Additional skills such as experience with warehouse management systems, forklift operation certification, or familiarity with safety procedures are a plus but not mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, staying alert, and communicating effectively with team members.
