About the Role
As a Line Leader, you will oversee packaging associates, ensure production schedules are met, maintain product quality and safety, troubleshoot equipment issues, and improve operational processes in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. Your leadership will foster a safe workplace and promote continuous improvement within your team.
Pay Rate:
Up to $22.00/hour
Shift Times:
- 1st Shift: Typically early morning
- 2nd Shift: Usually afternoon/evening
- 3rd Shift: Night shift Shift hours vary to accommodate different operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate job orders from supervisors
- Ensure machinery starts and runs efficiently
- Verify components against batch records
- Maintain GMP standards and cleanliness
- Conduct quality checks and documentation
- Manage line restocking and batch changes
- Report downtime and performance metrics
- Train and mentor team members
- Suggest process improvements
Key Requirements
- Preferred 2-year Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical packaging or related industry
- 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a moderate noise environment
- Good attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
