- Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
- Scheduled Days: Monday through Friday
- Shift Start Time: 8am
- Shift End Time: 5pm
- Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures depending on season and warehouse conditions; use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, and stack materials and products as per company standards.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, inspecting goods, and verifying shipment accuracy.
- Perform inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety and equipment operating procedures.
- Support general warehouse functions such as labeling, wrapping pallets, and staging shipments.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines.
- Client Overview: A warehouse client seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support logistics and inventory management operations.
- Pre-Hire Checks Needed: Background check and drug testing are required prior to employment.
- PPE Required: Use of personal protective equipment as mandated by safety guidelines.
- Client Pre-Hire Activities: Candidate must complete required prehire activities, including background check and drug test, before starting work.
- First Day Location & Reporting: Candidate should go to the designated jobsite location and contact Devin upon arrival. They should report to Devin for further instructions.
- Additional Instructions:
- Arrive via employee parking.
- Bring a positive attitude; no cellphones on the floor during work hours.
- Lunch break is 30 minutes.
